REVIEW : Yves Saint Laurent - Multi-Action Concealer & Yves Saint Laurent - Matt Touch Compact Foundation

Since I've been trying to find a perfect concealer and compact foundation for me, I decided to try out for Yves Saint Laurent. Take note that everyone has different skin texture and condition so not all of you would agree with me, but here's what I think! :)


1. Yves Saint Laurent - Multi-Action Concealer

I was looking through concealer reviews and this is one of the top picks concealer there is, so I decided to give it a try. When I first saw the product, I was stunned. The packaging really did captured my attention. I got this last week so I have time to try them out in different ways before making this review. A little goes a long way for this concealer. It's pretty thick so it conceals active acne perfectly. It's a good under eye concealer as it contains a lot of good brightening ingredients. It's highly pigmented so it covers up really well. One advice; choose 1 shade darker for your concealers because they conceal much better! I've been using this everyday and I love it! It is pretty pricey for a concealer but definitely worth it. I definitely recommend this.

2. Yves Saint Laurent - Matt Touch Compact Foundation

Yves Saint Laurent never disappoints me with their packaging.... They're all very luxurious. So when I saw this, I just had to get it. I've been looking around for a good compact foundation that would suit my skin type. I have combination skin; oily around my T-zone and dry for the rest. I've been dying to find the perfect foundation that would keep me matt all day and yet isn't drying. As it has been written in the box, it contains SPF 20 and it has a long-lasting matt finish (sounds perfect for me yay). So I got it! When I first tried it at home, I hated it.... I'm really sad to say that I didn't like how it looked on me at all. It didn't blend in to my skin tone and did not look natural at all. However, since it is actually pretty pricey, I decided to just go with it the whole day and hope it would look better. And it did! After an hour it matches perfectly with my skin and it hides my imperfections very well. The coverage really last all day! It kept my T-zone matt for around 4-5 hours which is pretty good. I don't regret buying it, but I don't think I would repurchase :( The journey into finding the perfect compact foundation continues.... Teehee

So this is my first post in my newly made blog..... lets start with hi there :)

A little introduction about myself would be appropriate, yes? As obvious as my blog address is, my name is Jessica Nathalie and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently studying fashion marketing in Raffles Design Institute in a small city in a small country with damn loads of human kind; Jakarta, Indonesia.

I've been meaning to make a blog for a while now and I feel like today is a good day to create one! Well the reason why it took me so long to actually make this blog is I was stuck on deciding what I should focus on this blog..... I plan on making a fashion blog, make up blog, food blog, music blog, hauls blog, even a lifestyle blog....? I've recently come into a conclusion that I can never determine what I shall focus on and I sure as hell wouldn't be able to make a separate blog for each. So here it is, a blog of everything teehee. From my current lifestyle, my past stories, to my make up reviews!
